神護寺から徒歩30分。石段を上ったり下りたりしながら世界遺産の高山寺へ。
とても雰囲気のある石水院は国宝となっています。
国宝として有名な鳥獣戯画（複製）も観ることができます。
御朱印帳やスマホカバーなど鳥獣戯画をモチーフにしたグッズもあって、お土産にも困りませんね。
紅葉の名所としても人気があります。
